In traditional personal training, accountability is synchronous. It requires both parties to be in the same room, at the exact same time, for exactly sixty minutes. This is a fragile system. If a meeting runs late or a flight gets delayed, the session is canceled, and the accountability vanishes until the following Tuesday.

Data eliminates the need for motivation.
